Welcome to the Quality Assurance Systems and Training Directory, this site has been developed to give visitors access to organisations that specialise in assisting businesses comply with formal quality assurance programmes. There is a greater need for companies to meet International Standards for Quality, the food industry now must look at HACCP programmes, exporters are using the ISO 9000 series to compete in the International markets, there is a greater need to use ISO 14000 systems to comply with the Resource Management Act. Even if we look at our roading network where Transit New Zealand and Local Government have adopted the requirement for contractors to produce Total Quality Management (TQM). This will include those organisations responsible for auditing, training and education and all though the list will hopefully become extensive it may not be very large due to the expertise in these areas.
